Essentially document cameras are high tech overhead projectors or web cams that are used for presentations or in the classroom.
How can you use it? · I would love to use this to take a closer look at animals that we have been researching during our habitat unit. This is a camera that can only view objects up to a particular size (so you are limited to pretty much anything less than 5 lbs. or so.
This is an idea that I have borrowed from the Cape May County Zoo but I would like to bring it to a more personal level, into the classroom.
I would like to take insects and small animals found in our local habitats and observe their behaviors in an contained setting so that the children can see the way they react to a particular environment.
